Is ChatGPT, GitHub or Discord down right now?
18 popular services, read from each company's own status page. We re-read each company's own status page every 9 minutes and show what it says. If a page stops answering, we say "No data". We never show green by guess. How it works

Live status board
Each service with its incident in the company's own words and 90 days of history. Green means the company says it works, orange or red means it reports a problem, and hatched grey means we have no answer. Services with a problem come first.

How it works
Three steps, no guesswork.
We read the official source
Every company publishes a status page. We re-read each of the 18 pages every 9 minutes. No visitor reports, no guessing.
We put it all on one page
Services with a problem come first. Each row shows the state in a colour, an icon and words, plus the incident in the company's own words and 90 days of history.
If a page goes silent, we say so
When an official page stops answering, its row turns hatched grey and reads "No data". It is never shown as working by guess.

Why use this board
What makes it different from a page that guesses.
Read from the source
Every state comes from the provider's own status API. The address read for each of the 18 services is printed on its row.
No answer is never green
After three failed reads a service shows "No data". If the collector itself goes quiet for 25 minutes, the whole board says so.
History with the gaps showing
The 90-day strip is built from each official incident log. Days without a record are grey, and are not counted as incident-free.
One small request
Your browser loads a single cached file from this site once a minute. It does not contact the providers.
No account, no reports
Pinned services and the alert switch are saved in your browser only. There is no sign-up and no user-report feed to game.
Badge and RSS for every service
Free to embed, without a key. With no data the badge turns grey and says so.
How to read the board
The card at the top answers the question most people arrive with: is something broken, and what. It counts the services whose official status page declares an incident right now and names them. Below it, each row shows one service with a written state and an icon, so the state never depends on color alone.
Operational means the provider declares no incident. It does not prove the service works for you: companies update their status pages by hand, usually a few minutes after a problem begins, and some short or regional failures are never declared.
Minor, major and critical are the provider's own severity for the declared incident. The row shows the incident title and how long ago it started, in the provider's own words. Maintenance is planned work in progress.
No data means we could not get a valid answer from the official page, or our collector has been silent for a while. It is drawn hatched and grey on purpose, so that silence is never mistaken for health.
The strip on each row covers the last 90 days, one bar per UTC day, colored by the worst incident declared that day. Open any service for its components, the full text of each official update and the time covered by declared incidents.
Questions and answers
Where does the status on this board come from?
From the official status page of each provider. A scheduled collector re-reads the public status API of all 18 services every 9 minutes and stores the result; your browser then loads one small file from this site. Nothing here comes from visitor reports or from our own probes.
What does "No data" mean?
It means the official status page did not give a valid answer, or our collector has not confirmed anything in the last 25 minutes. In both cases the service is shown with a hatched grey lamp and the words "No data". A missing answer is never shown as operational.
A service is failing for me but shows as operational. Why?
This board shows what each company declares. Status pages are updated by people, usually some minutes after a problem starts, and small or regional problems are sometimes never declared. If something fails for you while the board is green, the problem may be undeclared, limited to your region, or on your own network.
Can I check a website that is not on the list?
No. Only the 18 services listed are collected, each from its official status page. This site does not send requests to addresses typed by visitors.
How is the 90-day strip built?
Each bar is one UTC day, colored by the most severe incident the provider declared for that day in its official incident history. Grey bars are days for which we hold no record, either because the official history does not go back that far or because it was not collected yet. Grey does not mean "no incidents".
What do "My services" and the alert switch do?
Pinning a service moves it to the top of the board and makes the browser tab icon follow the state of your pinned services. The alert switch, off by default, shows a notice and plays a short sound when a state changes while the tab is open. Both settings are stored only in your browser.
