What the Netlify status covers
Netlify reports its edge networks (High-Performance and Standard), origin servers, the build pipeline, the application UI, API, hosted DNS, Functions, Identity and a group of third-party services it depends on.
The official page is netlifystatus.com. Everything on this page is read from its public API and shown as declared, with the provider's own wording in incident titles and updates.
Netlify not working for you, but no incident shown?
- Builds stuck or failing while your site loads normally point to the Build Pipeline component, not to the edge network.
- If your domain uses Netlify DNS and does not resolve, check the Hosted DNS component; with external DNS, check your DNS provider instead.
- A deploy that worked and a site that now returns errors on dynamic paths only suggests a problem in Netlify Functions or in a service your functions call.
- Wait a few minutes and look again. Status pages are updated by people and usually trail the start of a problem.
- Test from another network, such as a phone hotspot. If it works there, the cause is on your connection, VPN or DNS.
Want to follow Netlify without opening this page? There is a status badge and an RSS feed for it, and you can pin it so the browser tab icon follows its state.

Questions and answers
Is Netlify down right now?
The answer at the top of this page is the state Netlify declares on netlifystatus.com, re-read every 9 minutes. It is loaded when the page opens, so it is not written into this text. If the page shows "No data", open netlifystatus.com directly.
Where does this Netlify status come from?
From the public status API of https://www.netlifystatus.com, the official status page maintained by Netlify. This site does not test Netlify itself and does not use reports from users.
Netlify is not working for me, but this page says there is no incident. Why?
Netlify may not have declared the problem yet, since status pages are updated by people and usually lag by some minutes. The problem can also be limited to one region or feature, or be on your own network or account. The checks listed on this page help to tell these cases apart.
Does Netlify report problems with services it depends on?
Yes. Its status page has a "Third-Party Services" group for the external services Netlify relies on, in addition to its own components.
How long do Netlify incidents last?
It varies by incident. The list of recent incidents on this page shows the declared start and resolution of each one, and the 90-day strip shows on which days Netlify declared a problem.
