Figma reports Figma Design, FigJam, Dev Mode, Figma Slides, Figma Make, plugins and widgets, the file browser and search, community, and billing as separate components.
The official page is status.figma.com. Everything on this page is read from its public API and shown as declared, with the provider's own wording in incident titles and updates.
Figma not working for you, but no incident shown?
- If files open but changes from other people do not appear, the live collaboration connection is the likely cause; a strict firewall or proxy that blocks WebSocket connections produces the same effect.
- Plugins are a separate component and many of them call their own servers. One broken plugin is not a Figma outage.
- The desktop app is a wrapper around the web app. If the browser version works at figma.com, restart or update the desktop app.
- Wait a few minutes and look again. Status pages are updated by people and usually trail the start of a problem.
- Test from another network, such as a phone hotspot. If it works there, the cause is on your connection, VPN or DNS.
