What the Supabase status covers
Supabase reports its platform services as separate components: Database, Auth, Storage, Realtime, Edge Functions, the API Gateway, the Connection Pooler, the Dashboard and the Management API, plus compute capacity by region.
The official page is status.supabase.com. Everything on this page is read from its public API and shown as declared, with the provider's own wording in incident titles and updates.
Supabase not working for you, but no incident shown?
- A paused project behaves like an outage. Projects on the free plan are paused after a period of inactivity and need to be restored from the dashboard.
- Connection errors under load are often the project hitting its own connection limit. Check whether you are connecting through the pooler.
- If the dashboard fails but your application still reads and writes, the incident is limited to the management side.
- Wait a few minutes and look again. Status pages are updated by people and usually trail the start of a problem.
- Test from another network, such as a phone hotspot. If it works there, the cause is on your connection, VPN or DNS.
Want to follow Supabase without opening this page? There is a status badge and an RSS feed for it, and you can pin it so the browser tab icon follows its state.

Questions and answers
Is Supabase down right now?
The answer at the top of this page is the state Supabase declares on status.supabase.com, re-read every 9 minutes. It is loaded when the page opens, so it is not written into this text. If the page shows "No data", open status.supabase.com directly.
Where does this Supabase status come from?
From the public status API of https://status.supabase.com, the official status page maintained by Supabase. This site does not test Supabase itself and does not use reports from users.
Supabase is not working for me, but this page says there is no incident. Why?
Supabase may not have declared the problem yet, since status pages are updated by people and usually lag by some minutes. The problem can also be limited to one region or feature, or be on your own network or account. The checks listed on this page help to tell these cases apart.
Supabase shows a long-running minor incident. Is my project affected?
Often not. Supabase declares capacity constraints for specific regions and instance sizes as incidents that can stay open for days. Read the incident title on this page: it names the region or feature concerned.
How long do Supabase incidents last?
It varies by incident. The list of recent incidents on this page shows the declared start and resolution of each one, and the 90-day strip shows on which days Supabase declared a problem.
